Really any Stratocaster pickup will work. (How's that for damning with faint praise?) I can't say that mine sounds at all like a telecaster but it is a functioning pickup. The APST is intended to give a telecaster flavor to a stratocaster when used in the neck position. No upgrades/mods Pwede sa mga maselan DM for detailed. For the other I used a Seymour Duncan APST in the bridge and some other pickup in the neck position. maple neck Made in Mexico Mint, like new condition All stock. I had a couple of vintage DuoSonics restored/reassembled and for one I used Seymour Duncan Antiquities for DuoSonic. I used mint green on the blue guitar and parchment on the light green guitar. They have a large selection of colors to choose from. I used WD Music pick guards on my vintage DuoSonics and have been happy with them. The disclaimer says that they are made for the MIM version. The ones at WD Music may not line up exactly with your screw holes but they do have 12 holes. I'd love to see some pics of your upgrades too if you got 'em.

Anyone else find this to be true? If so, would a pup upgrade be moot? I dig the overall sound of the neck pup, it has a really cool crisp acoustic quality clean but still sounds pretty fat, so maybe looking for something that retains these qualities but sounds good with some dirt too.Īnyway, any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm not really into the sound of the bridge and I've read that this is a common opinion and due to the placement of it.
